Steve Whitney
A native Mississippian and retired Air Force veteran, Steve returned to Olive Branch after 28 years active military service to help his own parents navigate the challenges of senior life transition — from their two-story family home to a senior living community, and ultimately to independent living in a LifeCare environment. Dozens of personal moves on active duty and the experience with his parents laid the foundation for BetterLifePartners.
In addition to years of hands-on real-world experience with strategic planning, military construction, human resources, engineering, people programs, logistics - both on the job and in multiple volunteer capacities, Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master of Science degree in Counseling and Human Development, and a Master of Science in Business Administration.
Steve became a licensed REALTOR in 2015 and is affiliated with Kaizen Realty of Germantown, Tennessee, a member of the National Association of REALTORs and the Northwest Mississippi Association of REALTORS.
Armstrong Knight
Native to Sacramento, California, Armstrong relocated to Mississippi in 2001. He obtained an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Technology in 2019. A Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), he moved to the National Capital Region in 2020 and honed his skills as a Qualified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter until his return to Mississippi in 2025. He has a wide range of work backgrounds and a knack for entrepreneurial thought which he pursues while continuing his interpreting work via virtual forums.
In addition to interpreting, Armstrong is proficient in technology automation—to include building apps, web platforms, application programming interfaces (APIs) and connectivity. His skills include multiple forms of artificial intelligence (AI) and he has patented innovative technologies across that sector.
